Barbie Jewelry

If you watched Roseanne hopefully you remember the episode where the girls found a box of Barbie dolls heads, another box of legs, etc. under DJ's bed. Well this is creepy in that exact way, but also strangly pretty. The pieces with the eyes are definitely creepy, but the ones of the chest looks like hearts and you might not know what it is without seeing the other barbie body parts.

Speaking of Barbies... my co-worker is listening to I'm a barbie girl in a barbie world as I am writing this entry! (He has no idea I'm writing this, so he didn't put the song on for that reason. I can just hear his music through his headphones.)

This is a beautiful game. It is more about artistic beauty with colors and music than strategy or intellectual challenge. But it is worth checking out at least once. I love the randomness, the colors, the overlapping circles. I also think the way the music plays in the background while the popped circles each play their own random note works so well. All you have to do is click somewhere on the screen and hope your click bumps into the other circles floating around, creating a chain reaction to pop as many as possible. There are 12 levels and you can try for the high score. I have heard about boomshine 2, but haven't seen it yet, anyone know where to find it?

Translation Party

This is a fun site where you type in a phrase in English (try song lyrics, longer sentences work better). Then it is going to translate it back and forth from English to Japanese, again and again, until you have something more simple.
