Unique Keyboards

You may have heard of the keyboard that you can totally emerse in water to wash, great for those OCD clean-freaks like myself haha. But here are some other really strange and unique keyboards, some more funtional than others. My favorite is the scrabble keyboard shown here.

Here is a laser keybaord. The technology here is a little too much for me, it's almost scary. It projects that keyboard on any surface, then it optically recognizes your hand motions and even produces a clicking sound when you tap the 'keys'. It can be hooked to anything from a computer to your PDA.

You can add some bling to your computer skillz with this gold plated keyboard which surprisingly only costs about $271 US. (Sold in Japan.)

This would be a great keyboard if you want to class up your computer experience and maybe have some tea and crumpets while you play on addinggames.com.

Finally, the make-your-own-keyboard. This is great for poeple addicted to internet gaming because you can customize where the keys are for faster gaming. You can also customize what the commands for each key does. Looks great, but I'm glad I'm not overly addicted to computers because I think if you want this keyboard for something other than maybe a job creating video games or some graphics type job, you might have a problem.

The first picture is called "The Wave" which is located between Utah and Arizona. Too beautiful for any explainations.

The second picture is Antelope Canyon in Arizona. I guess that is light falling into the canyon in the first section of the picture. It is so beautiful.

Fire Burning or Down?

In trying to set out to prove that there are no lyrics in hip-hop we have started a list of songs in which they repeat the same word or phrase over and over. In Sean Kingston's song "Fire Burning on the Dancefloor" they say "fire burning" many many times, but maybe not as many times as Chris Brown says "down" in his new song, appropriately titled "Down". So let's find out.

Fire Burning on the Dancefloor:
"fire burning" = 23

Down:
"down" = 59!

Whale Watching

I heard about this website on the radio. You can go here and see a live feed from 4-6 different cameras on a boat. They go out twice a day (remember it is CA so they are 3 hours behind us) and look for whales and dolphins. Last night at 7:00 (EST) I had the site up and they actually saw a blue whale. When they spot something a worker on the boat gets another camera so that he can point and zoom directly at the whale. It was very neat to see it live and as they are going you can hear the captain talking to the crew and the crew talking to the passengers. They didn't see any monkaaays this time, maybe another time.
